Clinical Applications and Pearls of the WEDGEWISE Technique

The “WEDGEWISE” technique is a new category of orthodontic treatment mechanism. It grew out of the need to address the many problems inherent in the Edgewise technique(s) we have been using for 100 years. This new system eliminates many of the side effects built into what we commonly do today. The WEDGEWISE technique makes possible addressing malocclusions from the first day of treatment, and treatment is performed more predictably in less time and with less force.

The more intuitive and simplified mindset, as well as some clinical pearls appropriate for WEDGEWISE technique in the Triamond System will be demonstrated by showing clinical cases. Emphasis will be placed on specific differences between this new system and all existing appliances.
